APPLICATIONS / SYSTEM PLANNING

The right system.
For the real world.

A good surveillance design starts with the site: what you need to see, how long you need to keep it, and how the system will be used.

NETRA camera for retail installations
01 / RETAIL & SMALL BUSINESS

Entrances. Counters.
The spaces in between.

A compact wired IP system can bring together clear camera positions, reliable local recording and a practical viewing workflow.

  • Value or Pro fixed-lens camera families
  • 4 / 8-channel NVR and appropriately sized PoE
  • Planned event-based playback and mobile viewing

Start by checking the face-level view at entrances, backlighting, cable routes and storage retention.

NETRA home camera
02 / HOMES & COMMUNITIES

Everyday spaces.
Thoughtful coverage.

Indoor pan-and-tilt concepts for the home, with wired outdoor cameras and local recording where a community installation needs more structure.

  • NH-series home Wi-Fi roadmap
  • Outdoor Value / Pro IP cameras
  • Planned privacy, sharing and two-way talk workflows

Assess Wi-Fi coverage, local power, shared-area permissions and the positions that actually matter.

NETRA network video recorder
03 / INDUSTRY & MULTI-SITE

More cameras.
A coordinated view.

The expanded roadmap brings larger recorders, managed PoE and desktop viewing together for workplaces, warehouses and distributed operations.

  • Pro / Ultra camera and PTZ families
  • 16 / 32-channel NVR roadmap
  • Managed PoE, site health and Netra CMS

Bandwidth, storage resilience, lighting conditions and network segmentation belong in the survey.

A PRACTICAL STARTING POINT

Build an equipment brief.

Use the browser-based planner to explore a preliminary configuration. No pricing or confirmed product compatibility is implied.

FROM REQUIREMENT TO REVIEW

Start with your site.
We’ll talk through the system.

A useful enquiry is more than a model number. Share the constraints that will shape the installation.

01

Describe the site.

Tell us the property type, indoor and outdoor areas, camera positions and whether existing cable or equipment must be retained.

02

Define the outcome.

Outline identification distances, after-hours conditions, recording history and the people who need local or remote viewing.

03

Review the approach.

Discuss product fit, network and storage sizing, installation constraints and the validation needed before a final equipment selection.

BEFORE YOU CHOOSE

The useful
questions.

Clear answers about the system, the software and the next step.

Ask the team
What is NETRA building?

A complete surveillance ecosystem: IP and home cameras, NVRs and DVRs, PoE networking, NetraOS device software, mobile and desktop apps, and India-hosted connection services. Model-level specifications and release information are confirmed through the product team.

Can recording stay at my site?

Local recording is central to the architecture. NVR/DVR storage and camera microSD options serve different needs. The cloud roadmap focuses on identity, connectivity and selected event services; continuous cloud recording is outside the initial scope.

Which app will work with the cameras?

Netra Live is the mobile-app programme for pairing, viewing, playback and alerts. Netra Partner supports installation and service, while Netra CMS is the Windows-first desktop programme. These applications are under development.

What does the India focus mean?

NETRA is developing its product design, embedded software and application stack in India, with local assembly and Indian-region cloud infrastructure in the roadmap. Component sourcing and model-level origin information will be documented rather than assumed.

Can I discuss a dealer or installation partnership?

Yes. Share your operating area, typical projects and product interest through the partnership enquiry form. The team can review the fit and discuss the programme; submitting an enquiry does not create an appointment or commitment.
